Professor Simon McKirdy steps down from the UBL Board

Universal Biosecurity Limited advises that Professor Simon McKirdy has resigned from the UBL Board, effective 28 March 2025.

Professor McKirdy is a UBL founder and served as Non-Executive Chairman. He is an internationally recognised biosecurity expert and holds a PhD in Plant Pathology from the University of Western Australia. He made significant contributions to the company’s strategic direction and governance during his tenure.

The Board thanks Professor McKirdy for his leadership and his commitment to UBL. The company looks forward to continuing to benefit from his expertise through his role at Murdoch University.
